Travel, dining, entertainment firm continues support of region’s largest holiday light show

Portland, OR- Portland-based Jubitz Corporation has announced the renewal of its agreement with the Northwest’s largest drive-through holiday light show – Winter Wonderland – that will continue their title sponsorship at least through 2011.

The 2010 Jubitz Winter Wonderland will launch its 18th season on Thanksgiving night at Portland International Raceway, and will continue through December 26. Over 100,000 people tour the show each year to view spectacular displays of lights and animation from the comfort of their personal vehicles and tour buses. Since 1993, the event has collected more than 33 tons of food for local food banks and contributed more than $480,000 to local charities.

“This event is a great fit in our overall outreach to the community,” said Tracy St. Martin, spokesperson for the renowned Portland firm that has offered travel, dining and entertainment services for more than 50 years. “Jubitz has a long history of supporting community and family events, and Winter Wonderland really gets everyone in the company involved.”

Indeed, promotions and activities ranging from dining and retail discounts to special “Jubitz nights” engage employees and customers throughout the holiday season. The Jubitz Corporation recently celebrated its 58th anniversary, and the 26-acre Jubitz Travel Center is consistently rated as one of the top travel centers in America.

“We’re thrilled that Jubitz has chosen to continue the partnership that began so successfully last year,” said event producer Mike Nealy. “With their unmatched reputation for excellence and customer service, coupled with their enthusiasm for everything this event offers, we think 2010 will be a banner year for Jubitz Winter Wonderland.”
