December 15, 2011

PORTLAND, OR – Jubitz Travel Center expanded its internet service and launched free WiFi last month throughout its Portland facility.  Jubitz is now a hot spot for truck drivers, motorists and local residents to stay connected with friends, family or the office.  Premium wireless service is also available with increased bandwidth for video and audio streaming, and large file downloads, for nominal hourly, 24-hour and 7-day rates.  “Jubitz is committed to distinguishing ourselves as a superior Travel Center and Truck Stop.  Ensuring our technology, product and service offerings meet the demands of our customers is critical going into the future,” says Fred Jubitz, President & CEO.

Jubitz Travel Center has been a fixture in the Northwest and nationally since 1958, and is consistently recognized as one of the top ten truck stops in America.  Jubitz features a 100-room hotel, 24-hour full-service Cascade Grill restaurant, the Ponderosa Lounge, 80-seat Portlander cinema movie theater, gas station and convenience store, as well as a barbershop/hair salon, chiropractor and laundromat, and has become a favorite destination for local residents as well as for professional drivers.

Jubitz Corporation is consistently ranked among Oregon Business Magazine’s Top 150 privately owned companies in Oregon.  In addition to the Travel Center, other divisions of Jubitz Corporation include Jubitz Fleet Services, one of the largest Pacific Pride franchises in the U.S., and the Jubitz AMBEST Service Center providing truck maintenance and repair services.
Jubitz Travel Center is located at Exit 307 off I-5, near the Oregon/Washington border.
