Jubitz Travel Center To Host Driver Appreciation Day

PORTLAND, OR – Jubitz Travel Center will recognize the efforts of America’s truck drivers with its annual Driver Appreciation Day to be held at its Portland facility on September 14, 2011. The event will run concurrently with National Truck Driver Appreciation Week which honors all professional truck drivers for their hard work and commitment in tackling one of our economy’s most demanding and important jobs.
On the 14th, Jubitz will be hosting an outdoor barbeque from 11:00AM – 7:00PM, including music, games and prizes. A variety of vendors will also be on hand with free products, safety and health information, and other services relevant to the industry. CDL holders fueling 50 gallons or more between 11:00AM – 7:00PM will receive a free 12 oz. rib eye steak dinner at the Jubitz Cascade Grill. “This is our way of showing professional truck drivers how much we appreciate their dedication and hard work all year,” says Fred Jubitz, President & CEO. Jubitz has been honoring the men and women who work hard to deliver the goods U.S. consumers need with Driver Appreciation Day for the past 16 years.
