Jubitz Travel Center To Host Driver Appreciation Day - August 18, 2010

July 23, 2010

PORTLAND, OR – Jubitz Travel Center will recognize the efforts of America’s truck drivers with its annual Driver Appreciation Day taking place at its Portland facility on August 18, 2010.  CDL holders fueling 50 gallons or more between 11:00AM – 8:00PM on the 18th will be entitled to a free prime rib dinner at the Jubitz Cascade Grill.  “This is our way of showing professional truck drivers how much we appreciate their dedication and hard work all year,” says Fred Jubitz, President.  Jubitz has been honoring the men and women who work hard to deliver the goods U.S. consumers need with Driver Appreciation Day for the past 15 years.

Jubitz Travel Center has been a fixture in the Northwest and nationally since 1958, and is consistently recognized as one of the top ten truck stops in America.  Jubitz’s Portlander Inn & Marketplace complex features a 100-room hotel, 24-hour full-service Cascade Grill restaurant, the Ponderosa Lounge, 80-seat Portlander Cinema movie theater, gas station and convenience store, as well as a barbershop/hair salon, chiropractor and Laundromat, and has become a favorite destination for local residents as well as for professional drivers.

Jubitz Corporation is consistently ranked among Oregon Business Magazines top 150 privately owned companies in Oregon.  In addition to the Travel Center, other divisions of the Jubitz Corporation include Jubitz Fleet Services, one of the largest Pacific Pride franchises in the U.S., and the Jubitz AMBEST Service Center providing truck maintenance and repair services.

Jubitz Travel Center is located at Exit 307 off I-5, near the Oregon/Washington border.
